Acts 1:8-“but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Here at Salem Baptist Church, our Student Ministry takes an intentional approach of ministering to students through Sunday morning study, weekly gatherings, faith building events, and actively engaging in service and outreach opportunities. We seek to train and equip our students to grow in their relationship with Christ and live out their faith in a way that infuses hope and encouragement to those they encounter daily. Through A1:8 Student Ministry’s intentional approach to glorify God in all aspects of our programing; we prepare our youth to live bold, meaningful lives while navigating through daily struggles with a firm foundation in God’s unchanging Word!

A1:8 Student Ministry has many exciting opportunities to get plugged into for all youth, 6th-12th grade. A1:8 students attend regular youth retreats, energizing conferences, and weeklong mission camps.  Our Student Ministry has experienced serving others in the name of Jesus in not only the state of Virginia but also in areas throughout the United States and in a host of other countries.  A1:8 Student Ministry continually strives to live out Jesus’ charge in Acts 1:8.
