It is our objective at Salem Baptist Church to lead our youth into a saving faith with Jesus Christ and into service for Him.  One of the most vital and vibrant ministries at Salem is our children’s ministry. We are committed to partnering with parents in seeing their children receive a great spiritual foundation for their lives.  Our goal is to love youth as God commands, disciple them and challenge them to commit their lives to a daily walk with Jesus.

Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. we provide Sunday School for children of all ages beginning with age 3. Our children are currently using Answers in Genesis curriculum in Sunday School. During the worship service at 10:15 a.m., younger children (ages 4-7) are offered a special worship time through Children’s Church. In Children’s Church, we seek to strengthen the children’s love for Jesus and God’s Word through prayer, a Bible based message, activities and games using Child Evangelism Fellowship curriculum. Our children begin the worship service with their families and are dismissed for Children’s Church by the Pastor after the offertory. Your children can be picked up after the service.

Nursery is provided during Sunday School and Worship and is staffed by volunteers. All regularly attending parents are asked to serve in the Nursery during one service on a rotation system. Serving in the nursery can go a long way in helping your child have positive feelings about God and being in God’s house.
