And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 - New International Version These were Christ’s last instructions to His disciples before He ascended into heaven. We live in a lost and dying world which continues to pursue failing strategies for meaning and fulfillment in life. While people often look pretty good in the outside, their lives are filled with uncertainty, self-indulgence, guilt, lust, confusion and despair. Seeking his own remedies, man continues his downward spiral toward separation from God. Man’s only hope is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Salem Baptist Church is committed and commanded to reach and develop people into fully devoted followers and worshipers of Jesus Christ. Our focus, our vision at Salem is to build a Fellowship to Seek and Serve Him. To reach the lost and to go and make disciples. The church can’t simply reach the lost. It’s been also called to train and equip those that are being reached. Every church must have the two-fold purpose of leading men to a relationship with Christ and maturing them in the faith. That is the purpose of the ministries of Salem Baptist Church.

Children's Ministry
7 event listings
It is our objective at Salem Baptist Church to lead our youth into service for God. One of the most vital and vibrant ministries at Salem is our children's and youth ministry. We are committed to partnering with parents in seeing their children receive a great spiritual foundation for their lives. Our goal is to love youth as God commands, disciple them and challenge them to commit their lives to a daily walk with Jesus. On Sunday we provide the younger children (ages 4-9) a special worship time in Children's Church and a wide array of Sunday School classes are available for little and “big” kids (this means you adults) each Sunday. Each week your elementary age child can be a part of exciting environments that teach godly values at an age-appropriate level. God’s Word will come alive to your child as they learn to apply it to their everyday life through programs such as AWANA, C.O.O.L Kids and Vacation Bible school. AWANA is a fun place for children grades preschool through 6th grade to go each week to play games, laugh, earn awards and learn more about God and the Bible. Nursery & Preschool Our nursery services are provided to support parents in their spiritual growth by providing a safe and nurturing environment for their babies and toddlers. Nursery is provided during Sunday School and Worship staffed by volunteers. All regularly attending parents are asked to serve in the Nursery during one service on a rotation system. Serving in the nursery can go a long way in helping your child have positive feelings about God and being in God's house. Be a Part of our Youth Ministry Do you have a passion for working with youth?
